Towards village Nuenen

 Ok, its time to get you readers started on our local gaming club activites.

Every wednesday we have a games evening at our local gaming club. The night is open for any game. Usually we see a table or two for bolt action, recently there has been a game of X-wing too. Also last week when i was not there, couple players played a game of Bolt Action in the passific with US Marines against the Japanese. I saw a couple of pictures abaut it in Juhas blog, and it looked awsome. I almost felt bad that i didt start a small chindit force for the passific theatre, but i simply dont have the time to do it.

So on wednesday we are suppose to play a custom skenario which Juha made. This is the second time we are playing this and we have made little tweaks here and there. Juha will be the umpire of this game. Me and Herkko will be the Allied forces and i think Kalle is playing the Germans.

The idea is, like in Band of Brothers, Allies are tasked to take the village Nuenen. For their surprise Germans are occupying the village and Allied forces are faced with fierce resistanse.
I will be in charge of a brittish scouting party. Herkko is commanding a mainforce of mechanised Americans. They will be entering the table via a road, south of the village. My Cromwell tank will also enter from there with the Americans.

I get two rounds to scout the village, where there is positions of german forces marked with Post it notes. Some of the notes are empty so i really need to get scouting done before the Americans arrive.


These are the brave soldiers, i have hand picked for the scouting mission. There might be some slight changes to these forces as i have not talked to our umpire Juha yet.
